Cookie is our little star. She is by our lovely Hector (Palton’s Hectic Time) out of my friend’s Chris Cook’s bitch, going back to my own lines on the mother’s side. Thank you Chris for allowing “Cookie” to come and live here with James and I, more so now after sadly losing our precious boy Hector at the young age of five years, she is the only puppy I have from him as I thought we would have many more, but that was not to be the case. She has his very affectionate and loyal personality and is a much loved member of our household.
She had a wonderful start to the show world and like her father and grandmother loves the show ring giving her the opportunity to show off, sometimes with four legs up in the air and not on the ground, but when settled moves beautifully. She qualified for Crufts 2014 at S.W.Golden Retriever Championship Show under breed specialist Mrs Pat Arnold (Ambergold) by being placed 2nd in a lovely class of 22 entries. She continues to do well in the ring . Cookie had a super 2014 season in the show ring by winning consistently, with the icing on the cake being when she won our first RCC at Paignton Championship Show under Judge Mrs J Miller.
